Legends can't be compared to, and saying that alone is more than needed to compliment one of the greatest games in history. I'm not convincing anyone to be a genwunner or anything, but it's tough to argue to the fact that it all started from this very piece of art, and consequently improved (apart from the fact that the franchise has dropped to its lowest nowadays XD).
