While it was still cute and thematic, it was also contrived and seemed to be trying too hard. Olaf was funny. The 80s style love ballad was a nice throwback. There romantic and love themes were alright. The writing was much more suited for a stage play than the big screen, and some parts seemed to mimic Joss Whedon. It also made me cry 4 times, so it had some real emotional quality. But, it wasn’t worth the wait, in my opinion.
