This movie lacks the quite background music when Light talks and the one when he kills and a lot of backgrounds when he says something interesting or plan succeed + Light's enthusiastic voice when he's challenging someone and the voice tone itself and the most important, his very evil smile at times and laugh and the things he say when people challenge him. Light in this movie doesn't feel natural like the real Light. I mean in the anima/manga version he was way cooler & colder with two sides in him, one for public, one for himself and people cooperating with him, but in this movie I really cannot differentiate between the two sides or maybe there was only one. Ryuk's mouth is not synced well with what he says, also his eyes are different, they should be yellow with red pupil including some details of his face needs re-work.. really the movie is not that good and not that bad but it was 2006 though. However, I can assure you that it is way better than the 2017 Netflix adapted (trash) one. L was the only thing that felt a little bit natural about the movie than the others but they all really need to work more on the acting, they need not to act but to be actually them (If you know what I mean).. personally, I think I can do way better myself cause the original Kira is a lot like me so just seeing movies trying hard to copy the characters in that anime feels unnatural to me. Also they missed a lot of parts like "I'll take a potato chip... and eat it!" or when he said to Naomi that he's Kira in the most cold and evil way I've ever seen before she commit suicide.. well the whole movie story & script is 17-20% different. and more than 90% of the amazing moments, mind-blowing tactics and natural act or words that should've been said didn't happen. BTW they stopped right when Light joined the investigation in this movie.
