Great film, great acting, great story. This film is most definitely not for everyone, gives a very similar feel to the lighthouse. The play like script, smaller screen size with a high grain. It’s very dark and arty. Great film to be very eye and ear pleasing. It’s not greatly scary, entertaining or unsettling. I would much rather recommend “The Lighthouse” and “The Witch” before watching this.

Huge fan and have played almost all the games including halo wars. I dreamed as a kid to have a halo or halo reach series/movie. Yesterday we were gifted that, well more gifted a steaming hot turn on a silver platter. 200 million dollars yet seems like its made by a mid to below average production company. Cool guns and armour designs with worse cgi then i have seen small time production company's put out with only about 100mil or less. If you somehow look past the very visual flaws of the outside of this steaming hot turd. You can begin to notice a somewhat average script, story and dialogue. Sadly casting and story isn't the best done. But who can blame them Halo has a story line as complex as a colouring in book. In conclusion, Is it worth your time yes and no, if you have the ability to watch a really average show be my guest you'll probally love it. But if you enjoyed more well executed series along with being a halo fan, i recommend taking a dip and missing out on this one as many of us lotr fans will be doing to amazons abomination.

Just finished watching for a second time, its not for everyone but if you enjoyed “this is the end” and other similar films. You'll have a good laugh and enjoyment out of this film. I could have only wish it did better and that it got a sequel. Would not be surprised if i return again 10 years from now to watch it once more or sooner. Good action, cool story, surprisingly good acting with a perfect cast. Wasn't a moment in the film where i grew disengaged or bored. Only could have wished we saw some more monsters maybe. Defiantly a great weekend watch

Lots of negative reviews sadly from small minded people it seems. It pushes a very controversial and confronting topic. Similar to what is seen in District 9, It demonstrates the very worrying fact of AI and what would happen in the wrong hands/coding. 100% a must watch film. Look past the reviews and go in with a blank mind with no expectations. Enjoy it for it is and what it has to offer. Second time watching and still thoroughly enjoyed it
