Calista Cheyenne

First of all, I’m not gonna totally diss the movie as the voice acting, animation and soundtrack were fantastic. But I am gonna say after finishing Encanto there were a lot of plot holes that made the movie fall through and feel unfinished for me. It felt like the ending was rushed as the storyline was so compacted and I began to wonder if scenes that were meant to be longer were suddenly shortened. It was feeling like all the production budget went to the music videos for the (great) soundtrack. I was also unhappy with how the ending turned out as the climax of the movie and the resolution were within minutes of each other leaving me feeling confused as if there was much missing. I liked the movie but I wouldn’t watch it again
