Have been dying to see the reunion of obi wan and Anakin since revenge of the sith!!! Loved the prequels Just finished watching the season finale;awesome! An exciting nostalgia ride…. Thought the way they intertwined the old originals with modern prequels worked well and with cameos from old characters. Spoiler alert* : you finally see the Anakin beneath the mask and it’s quite powerful when presented with the duality; that it’s not two separate entities, I found it very sad to see him under the mask and particularly Obi wan reaction. I hope they do another season or a film can’t wait to see more!!

Nicholas cage(robin), lives out in the wilderness with his beloved pig, selling truffles for a living. His pig is kidnapped and he goes on a mission to rescue his pig. …. Kept wishing throughout the film that he would take a bath and the part were he’s cooking someone’s dinner covered in blood and filth was making me 😷 ill. Also wondered if the film was meant to be taken seriously as it seemed so ridiculous his need/love for a pig( even if it could find truffles)and the drama and extravagance some go over food!!! Yet the film portrays this reality of superficial falseness, within elitist elements of restaurateurs and their dinners. Robin seems to have been scunnered by it and calls it how it is and prefers his wilderness and pig… Though he was once a famous chef who cooked such a great dinner for a couple that it was like they had had a personal meeting with God!! Again ridiculous…. Though unfortunately there are many individuals out there that the world revolves around their gut….. you realise at the end he’s grieving for someone…. But I’m not intuitive enough to properly know who or the connection to the guy that was also grieving and stole his pig…. Wondered was it the same woman or .., couldn’t work it out… watchable even if just to watch cage walking about filthy crying over a 🐷 pig

The film is about a woman bereaved to the point of such a depression, she drives from the city into the wild to live in a shack in total isolation. The film then explores the harsh reality of living of the grid without mod cons, as well as the dangers. At times I felt so angry at anyone being so stupid to think they could make it in the wild without any survival training. But her rescuer comes in the shape of a Hunter and they both end up healing one another. This film actually made me see hunting when done for necessity is a world away from trophy hunting; that the rockies is a beautiful place I want to visit. Most of all a person seeking isolation as a cure finds salvation in the power of human kindness and intimacy. Lovely story….

Started off like it would be the origins of a mystery that would reveal who abducted a child. Then it abruptly turned into a sermon on forgiveness. This must have been written by a priest/pastor or some Christian who’s vocation is spreading the word of god…. It could be seen as blasphemous to some but overall it isn’t a unique take on Christianity (as some of the reviews imply) many view the holy trinity like this and hold the same believe system including god can appear in any form just not a white man…. However, I’m an agnostic and as powerful a message the film looked to send…. I just wanted my puke bucket …was so disappointed as had been in the mood for a good old mystery thriller…… instead I got a highway to heaven of a holy joe production ….can’t believe it got the budget…

Excellent film!! One of the few times I’ve actually been able to watch and fully engage in a foreign film by keeping up with subtitles( apart from scenes with dustan Hoffman). Starts with a girl being kidnapped then some time in the future being rescued and interviewed by a psychologist/profiler. Centres on this and the investigation of a private investigator alternating between both. Very engrossing complex plot right to the end . Unlike some thrillers, you know what’s going to be revealed, this one surprises you. Makes you want to go back and rewatch! If you’re in the mood for a gripping bit of suspense would recommend.

This film was excellent. It was a simple plot centred on the relationship between a hardened fugitive and a bullied shy little boy’s development through it. This film was very engaging for moving at its own pace. Very powerful and touching with a bitter sweet end.

Enjoyed the first season. Was looking forward to the second,so much so I subscribed to NOW TV which I now regret. It is so slow and excruciatingly boring and I’ve only got to the 4th episode;don’t think I can continue. A real disappointment Update. Watched episode 4 and it’s actually picked up a bit. It’s better in the current date as first few episodes were mainly set in 15th century which is just boring.

Really enjoyed this film. Good plot twist and reveals. It was quite sad though.

Just watched it on now movies. Has similar music, cinematography and feel of it, right down to the focus on the Wallace sword vibrating back and forth as braveheart. Didn’t realise till after it was it’s sequel. Must say very boring, seemed to centre round some irrelevant little family and the Bruce’s time spent with them. No great battle scenes,suspense or any of the great characters its predecessor had. It’s a pity, could have been so much better especially with having the same Bruce actor from braveheart, as he was fantastic in it. Must say I preferred the out law king to this,and that wasn’t great.
