While Phoenix’s performance was deserving of the Oscar, the violence and street scenes are too real to some of the darkness in cities like NYC. I would have liked something lighter, so I would look forward to a sequel. Unfortunately, I’ll skip it.

This film is amazing! This is a story every American should know...the bravery of our soldiers, officers, Philippine soldiers and POWs. Great cast!
