While it isn't pissed off Maynard anymore, I find it to be them "spiraling out" both as musicians and a band. It isn't heavy. It is, however, haunting and different. All while keeping their sound intact. I really dig it. Maynard's vocals are still as good as ever and DC goes full beast mode on this album.
