I’m practically a professional movie watcher... but just for myself. I love movies, and try to watch everything. Even thought I’ve become more picky as I’ve gotten older, I still try to watch more movies / TV movies than most people. With that said, I am FIRMLY stating that the current rendition of the Star Trek TV show is phenomenal!! It’s obvious to assume that the filmography or technical filmmaking is excellent and unique. But beyond the filming, this show is fantastic. It’s intellectual. It’s well written. It’s complex throughout an entire episode, but then reveals the simplicity of the story by the end. Beyond this, the writers / producers / directors have figured out an excellent angle of developing a long term story throughout the season, with even more connectivity, and in depth episodes over two or three of them. The actors are all excellent. It surprises me to hear negative feedback from viewers about certain actors... but I’m guessing it’s simply a role or character personality the viewer doesn’t like. Overall, I give this series a 10/10!!! Great job guys!!
