First let me start by saying im 36 at the time im writing this. I didnt really like the original teen titans at all, the show was pretentious, and many action animations were ripped straight off other shows. When it was trying to be funny, it tried to forcefully translate Japanese anime "funny face comedy" to situations were comedy just didnt fit. I didnt hate it, but I didnt care for it at all. EVERY bad review here is from people with anime or cartoony avatars who are comparing TTG to original TT. Also, seemingly, all within the same age group. I was probably too old for to take the original TT seriously, or let alone, appreciate them in any way. That being said, I just love this show so much. The only reason Im raiting and writing a review is because I want the series to keep on going. I dont really care if "kids" hate it, until the reviews hurt the show's chance to get new seasons. It is in its entirety a slapsticky, colorful comedy, just a feelgood mish-mash of visual and verbal jokes, Dad jokes, good and bad jokes. Relatively very clean (there is a bit of tom and jerry style violence). This is a show the internet decided to bandwagon against, when it deserved to have a My little pony-brony style fandom (i dont care for this show and it hurts that its so massive, all over copy/paste kids show situations with its respective copy/paste life lessons, and similar animation). Just dont let reviews dissuade you from this show. But give it a chance, because it starts getting good a few episodes in.

I have never been interested in the Star Trek franchise, I didnt consider it good or bad. I ran into the series in Netflix and watched because of my interest in animation history. Im on the verge of loving it. The stories are very well written and detailed enough to keep you interested. It is definitely not a kids show, its oriented towards teenagers and young adults.The first episode has enough to tell you what the series is about.
