I am a child care educator and I have been so excited and touched by this series. It makes me want to advocate for all retirement homes and aged care facilities to be affiliated with childcare facilities. The outcomes being so positive were really touching and inspiring. Well done. We often visit my partners father in an aged care facility and thus experiment would benifit these residents greatly. When we visit with my 20 month old grandson the amount of sad, lonely shells of residents that perk up start to whistle or call to him to come to nana for a hug is amazing. They smile, look up and seem much happier. I know the benefits would be life changing.
