Maya Papaya – Google

This is such a wonderful show! Coming from a 15 year old, the animation is absolutely adorable and the plot moves along nicely. This seems like it's going to be one of those shows similar to Gumball, Adventure Time and other 2D animated silly shows. I always love the concept of mans best friend and love seeing dogs as characters. The cliffhanger at the end of the first season definitely sets us up for a season 2 so I can't wait!

I just finished the movie and honestly, it's pretty great. I'm a brony and grew up with FIM. I did feel as though Izzy was replacing Pinkie, but other than that the characters were all new and interesting. There were many references to what we all know and love as equestria with the mane six and all, which assured me we weren't leaving the old gen behind, just blazing a trail for a new and more modern one. The only thing I didn't really like was the ending with Sprout and whatever he was doin with being the leader of the Earth ponies. The way that ending all happened was sort of not expected, especially for MLP. The way I view an ending like that is sort of childish, which I know this is technically a children's show, but what made MLP so lovable was the fact that it wasn't like what we see in Kid's tv today. I absolutely adore the animation style, setting, and the fact that everything is chronological and we get to see more technology being developed. This is the first time I've felt old (I'm only 15) when the characters called the old equestria we know, "ancient". It's cool, honestly lol. Now, while I love this and hope they continue to add on to this pretty amazing storyline, I'm just afraid of what the old fans will say... I hope they end up liking the new gen as well :)

Okay, so I am 14 and I like watching kid shows for fun. Most of the reviews are parents, so I will offer a different perspective. I absolutely love the show and its concepts. For example, the addition of the gay couple does seem sudden, but it is an important thing to learn about people. We can choose how we want to spend our lives, and society is becoming more accepting of that. The people talking about predators and the need to keep Potato a secret being misleading, I do agree with. However, I don't think it is that bad, we can clearly see Chip is only trying to protect her friend. I also have a theory that Potato has helped other children with their young lives. Potato helps Chip with problem-solving and making better decisions. Overall, I think this is a great show and I am definitely looking forward to season 3. :)

Honestly, I don't believe this show deserves all the hate it receives. I get it, it's not as good as HTTYD and all that. However, it is taking the franchise and giving us a new perspective on the world. Now we can see what the dragons say, and how they perceive the world. I think it is possible that humans be raised by dragons. I do enjoy this show, and I am 14. I'm exploring the franchise more, and I think it's a great kids adaptation to the HTTYD franchise.
