Yikes. The best part of this was Smith. But really. Yikes.

Mission impossible to watch is what this is. Besides being a surprisingly plodding script, the sound mixing is insane. You can't hear anything during the dialog and then during the action scenes there's an explosive assault on your eardrums. I had way higher expectations.

None of it makes any sense and nothing about it makes it worth spending the time to watch it. It's an hour and half of watching unhappy people pulling their fingernails out trying to figure out why. Every scene is unnecessarily long and the dialog is forced and inauthentic. There were whole stretches of the movie where the only thought going through my bored brain was: why?

My favorite charter was the horse.

Take everything you know about space travel, engineering, medicine and command structure, fold it up and put it away. Having said that, the idea of the story is interesting. Plausible? No. Interesting, yes. Aside from the general over-acting and a tendency for melodrama, the show suffers from pacing issues. Some scenes are exhaustingly long and others miss the mark because they're too short. Now that I know what to expect, I would watch a second season, especially if they iron out some of the pacing issues.
