Decent documentary of WWII as told from the point of view of the United States. Probably made during the Cold War. The apology for genocide towards the end made me sick to my stomach and angry at the same time. How long is the myth that a nuclear strike against civillians saved lives going to be propagated? The Japanese were already beaten. Uncle Sam just wanted to show off his new toy to Uncle Joe. Would love to see an honest documentary for once on this topic .
Great footage though. Soundtrack belongs in a cartoon, as does the script. Still, a must watch for those younger brats who don't appreciate the value of mutually assured destruction. ;-)
