I loved it! Binge watched the whole season on New Year's Day! Beautiful sets & costuming. Believable acting. Great chemistry between Simon & Daphne.
Constructive feedback: Better build up & pacing with the intimate scenes. Sex seems rushed & lacks the progression of tentative, repressed, somewhat forbidden desire. Fits the bill, but fails to fully draw-in the viewer, especially after learning that there was an intimacy coach. Robert Redford in the Horse Whisperer & Pride & Prejudice with Keira Knightly & Matthew Macfadyen - are both excellent examples of the point that I am making.
I was surprised by the implied "author" of the gossip gazette. Penelope lacks the maturity & insight necessary to produce a column of that weight, which is even more magnified by the dignified narration of Julie Andrews.
Finally, I was very disappointed that the child born to Simon & Daphne was not biracial. Especially after such a grand attempt at providing a wonderfully diverse cast My apologies, but the newborn displayed with fair skin & reddish hair was not a believable heir.
