This movie is for the fan base and pays loving tribute to everything that the OG Ghostbusters were about. As a fan you are immediately invested within the first 5 minutes of the opening scene. As the movie continues you are given an abundance of easter eggs and nods to the OG film. I found myself smiling throughout most of the movie from just the placement of some of the music from the 1984 film. The dedication given to Harold Ramis throughout the movie is so emotional that both my wife, daughter and I cried during several scenes as we have lost love ones. The critic reviews are worthless but I can understand how a non fan would say that this movie was okay and not 5 stars but this movie was crafted for one purpose and that is the fans!! Absolutely loved it and will see it again tomorrow!!
