I met Fox Rich during my time at the ACLU of Louisiana. We were organizing in Louisiana for the Justice Reinvestment Laws. Our goal was to drop from the #1 incarcerator in the world to at least #2 or 3. Fox was on the forefront of this movement. After the success of the legislative response, Governor Edwards signed the laws into effect. Another one of the things he did was to pardon Rob Rich. It was Fox's un-dying relentless struggle to push the system that is so heroic. This documentary is her story. Did I mention she is my Sheroe? Yes, she is.
