This movie has nothing to do with “the villages” but rather it depicts the lives of 3 village residents who happen to have interesting lives. I’ve been coming to the villages for over 20 years and it’s a wonderful place - and I’m not even middle age yet! This documentary should have been called something different and it shouldn’t include any reference to the villages because it gives the viewer the false sense that they are watching a documentary on the villages when it couldn’t have been more misleading. The villages is a fantastic place to spend your later years and 99% of what you saw here is not the normal environment.
