The best show I have ever watch in my 50 years of living. It was the only show I have ever watched where I didn’t have a running commentary going through my brain. I never once thought, “oh the character would never say, do, or think that.” The show had painful moments, but it was so relaxingly real. It is so hard to explain. Maybe it is the fact, that for the first time, characters did, and said, what you truly knew they would, and this is what was so refreshing. The main character is representing so many of us! It is the only character I have EVER related to. I am just a 53 year old, past stay at home mom, who felt such a connection to ‘Tony.’ It was like Ricki wasn’t even acting!! I thank you so much for writing, directing and acting in such an incredible show. There isn’t even an award that is available for the catagory that this type of story could win. It is all just too beyond anything that has been done before. Thank you. Thank you for the laughs, the smiles, the peace, the amazement and joyful tears!
