This just feels like they wanted a sequel so they just used the name of a PERFECTLY AMAZING MOVIE and slapped a 2 on it. They only really wanted money so they thought “Let’s make a sequel”....turns out it was a total failure. The thing that made the first movie so special for me was that it’s iconic items like the leg lamp and the Red Rider BB Gun and those hilarious knee slapping moments that we all did like dropping the F bomb. Overall the sequel is missing those elements and in my opinion is what brings the movie down. I always loved those moments on Christmas when I’d see the tress and always have a nostalgia moment of tinsel gleaming in our eyes and wrapping paper mountains. Even though it was made in 2011 it lacks what it needs to continue Ralphie’s story.
