The best experience thus far definitely depends on the previous expansions to make the big moments hit but if you have followed through it all it's amazing.

Definitely my new favorite pokemon movie, with a deeper message than most and a genuinely emotional tale this movie stands on it's own. The only bad part was Ash, he seemed so forced in but thankfully the movie barely acknowledges him and mostly tries to ignore him for most of the film
