I really wanted this show to be good. I even waited until episode 7 to write a review, hoping it would improve. Unfortunately, the writing is poor, and the pacing is slow. The characters don't feel right; they're either overly emotional or their motives change inconsistently from one episode to the next.
The story revolves around twin sisters created by the Force through witches, which undermines the lore surrounding Anakin as the Chosen One. The series is set 100 years before The Phantom Menace, yet it contradicts the movie's claim that there had been no sightings of the Sith for over 1,000 years. This inconsistency with the established canon is frustrating.
While there are a few good lightsaber fights, the CGI is subpar, and the show doesn't capture the essence of Star Wars. The inclusion of witches performing seances and chanting feels demonic, and scenes like an evil Sith character bathing in a lake seem overly sexualized. Additionally, a Jedi appears shirtless in one scene, which feels out of place. Overall, the show fails to deliver what fans expect from the Star Wars universe.
