As a "straight-to-DVD action movie", it's "MEH, thank God I've pirated it" As a Bad Boys, it's insulting As a Bad Boys follow up that you have low expectations about, it's extremely disappointing Don't watch this movie unless you have a ton of spare time. Stuck 7 days in a hospital ? Why not ?... If it's the only movie available... I asked my friend 3 times if he wanted to leave during the movie, we stayed because he didn't want to leave (he paid for it...). Some people were leaving mid-way (I envied them), others left when the movie was still rolling (there are a few "fake endings", they didn't care, they left anyway) The good : One joke somewhat landed but it's like feeling a grain of sugar in a teaspoon full of salt... It's still a teaspoon full of salt... The other thing somewhat cool was to see Reggie again... Yeah... another tiny grain of sugar... I already forgot about most of it (yes, this is in the "Good" category) The bad : Everything else ! "Look they're old now lolololol" humor Slow paced, contrived Fan service (bad fan service) Boring story and out of character for whom it mostly concerns (Will Smith... man, you have no idea how much I want to spoil it just to show how ludicrous this "story" is...) Action scenes are forgettable because meaningless (yes, even for a brain dead action movie like a Bad Boys...) Wheelie, catch the grenade, throw it in front of you while moving forward !!! Hell yeah, I mean, why not ? It would work in an anime, right ? Let's run on gas tanks literally exploding ! If E=mC² and the wind blows West, it should work ! Let's stand on top of a chopper on fire... It's just what ? 900°C ? (oh, in a burning building...) All of the above... while old... Did I told you they are old now ? Well, they are old now. Don't look at the blood on top of the yellow car... literally just paint, pathetic The new team is... I don't even know how to describe it... Have you played Watchdogs 2 ? Same here... "oh look, we're so cool, we use gadgets and stuff and stuff and things and we use non-lethal weapons and eat only soy beans" (the "soy beans" part is made up, the rest is true) Conclusion : Avoid, especially if you like Bad Boys movies, or good movies in general. Rant : I can't believe the reviews this movie has... You guys are the problem, you know that ? I can't blame "Hollywood" for making bad movies if people want to see bad movies... That's how things work. That's on you, people who gave good reviews to bad movies, that's on you.
