this show is amazing and stays true

This show has so many problems it's hard to find a start. But let's give it a try. Black lightning is essentially a role model for black men all over the world. With so many white ones out there I get why they would. Equal rights in affect. But it portraits stereotypes. No originality. Just same thing day in day out. I watched season 1 and honestly am offended of the racism. The bad guy is a white man with black people doing his dirty work. Where is the equal balance there. That just promotes more of it in the real world. Look at the flash. They haven't had a black bad guy. Arrow. Had one for a short time. Legends doing the same. Supergirl they made James black. And wow he makes it work. They are catering to one gender. After all the years and hard ship that it has taken to get this far to stamp out racism here they are making it worse. The whole dc world is currently aiming to please everyone best they can. But when you make something about rase you offend and insight hate. I get up in a city. I'm white but I was raised by a black family as well as my parents and although I'm never going to say I know there pain and struggle. I do know that when you bring rase in people look at it differently. Topping it off with the sexuality of his daughter and the focus on it. Ok. We get it. She's gay. But she's not the main character along with the slow pace. Honestly I think I fell asleep after a few episodes. Honestly I'm only going back to it if they do a cross over. I have no time in my life for that level of racial divide.
