I loved the original anime. I made it through one episode of this adaptation. Just awful. A money grab of epic proportions. It’s like a middle schooler watched the trailer for Cowboy Bebop and wrote a terrible fan fic in their social studies class. If this were a stand-alone show, it wouldn’t have made it past the first table read. It rides the coat tales of the original anime, but Jesus, does it drag hard. Gag worthy dialogue, uncreative shot Design, annoying characters, two dimensional story, about as much depth as a foam coffee cup. My one compliment: I only lost about 40 minutes to it.
