Alden Ehrenreich very well embraces Han Solo's character without out actually trying to completely imitate the same (that we've loved watching) played by Harrison Ford in this good-not-great movie. "
Written by Lawrence and Jonathan Kasdan and directed by Ron Howard, the movie is about Han Solo and his adventures and how he joins gang of galactic smugglers and meets Chewbacca. Indebted to the gangster Dryden Vos, the crew travels to mining planet Kessel to steal coaxium.
Eventhought you may not properly connect to these neoteric characters, the movie still got numerous action sequences that are long enough and cheerful with a pretty good plot, which will not let one feel gouged out at any point.
There are just enough CGI spectacles that feels beautiful at times and an amazing production and costume design (as usual) that almost provides satisfying experiment for the hare-core fans and does justice by staying true to the title and its exhibition.
In addition with some clever dialogues along the way and Donald Glover giving out his best (at anything what he does)
for his role that felt genuine and witty, and rest of the cast doing a pretty good job, may it be Emilia Clarke or Woody Harrelson.
The movie sure has many tradition sci-fi/action flick clichés like; protagonists escaping at end moment from life threatening situation, always finding the best crew for pulling out through an impossible job or the good guy turning out to be the bad guy.
These were some of the set backs that made movie look silly and very forward as a viewer,
but still the movie still offers fun time. "
