An extremely sensitive insight into the complexity of emotional vulnerability and attachment of human beings. The desire to keep to oneself and not let go something precious and rare like the young musician who has been rescued by two genteel elderly women is set against their individual personal maternal and romantic instincts and the remembrance of things past,lost and never to be regained ....The poignancy of human emotions, foibles, pain, insights and awareness of the human condition is superbly played into the soul stirring violin musical themes performed by a great artist. It is a wonderful poem of a film.
