This animated show was so captivating to me that it inspired this years Cosplay design for me. The showโs revival includes so many elements of the 80โs cartoon but breathes more life into it with modern perspectives and diversity, from same-sex parents, to characters with varied ethnic backgrounds and body types, and a more rich telling of internal struggles each character faces regarding their destiny and origin versus their freedom and individuality.
