I believe other people were hoping this would be a more standard sort of shooter game, which it’s not, I believe they’re looking for a game more like the new Hitman games. There’s also plenty of those types of games on the market, which would do the John Wick brand a disservice. There’s plenty of games with ‘realistic’ graphics or games like Call of Duty or Far Cry, which are generally lifeless. This is a strategy game, and arguably does more for the series than a standard shooter would. Mike Bithell is an awesome game creator and did this justice. You get an idea for what would be going through John Wick’s head during a shootout, and what he has at his disposal. If you’ve never played an X-Com or something like that, this is a great game to dip your toes into the sub genre.
