A lot of reviews on this game comment on the length of the dialogue, but I would point out that this game is more of an RPG than just a shooter. The game is enjoyable without any DLC, though they are worth it, and the combat system makes you feel like a bit of a boss. The only thing I have against it is the ammo system. Constantly we see characters both in the game and show complain that they are constantly having to purchase ammunition, but the only time you really have to is right when you buy a new type of gun. After that, you tend to net a positive amount of ammo in drops from enemies. The hunting and exploring in this game allows for great online and multiplayer gameplay. The community online is a little lacking. Often, people want to settle for high level players farming and everyone else sitting around gaining exp. This is fine if you are playing just to level, but makes people toxic if you “waste lives” that they could be using.
