One of the most beautiful and engrossing games I’ve ever played. The ambience, the love that went into this title radiates from every pore of it. Best rogue like I’ve ever played and I don’t even normally like the genre. You lose nothing on death and the plot advances with each return to your homestead. My only complaint was that there’s not more of it. I devoured this game and finished absolutely everything in only 20 hours. I want more!!! Need more forested levels or even a sequel with a true overworld. The short length is the only thing that keeps this game from being a 10/10 indie on par with Celeste or Hollow Knight. It’s easily 9/10 Also has incredible 2 player couch coop. Bravo to the devs and I hope there is more Morta coming.
