[I would firstly state that this review is based on my experience with the multiplayer of the game, the zombies is ok and I've never been much of a campaign player.]
Out of all my time playing call of duty, I've never seen a modern cod that was this poorly made. Whether it being with the terrible weapon balancing leaving some guns just an instakill while others require the whole clip to kill, or even looking at the game's horrendous hit detection, the game is just terrible. The game was so poorly made and rushed that it leaves little to no positives to be seen. I enjoy sniping, but the snipers on this game are terrible, one sniper is a hitmarker machine while the other takes way too long to aim in with, i'll be shooting people with the tundra in the upper chest and head and ill get hit markers, meanwhile the killcams for me will show me dying from getting shot with a Pellington in the lower chest and knees. The movement on the game is definitely worse than MW, especially with mantling how if you jump, the game for some reason will think "oh what's that, you wanted to climb this random rock that was behind you?". And Sbmm just makes this terrible cod even worse than it is, I'm barely prestige 2 from how little i play this game now, and yet the game believes that i should get matched with a full lobby of prestige master sweats, every game will play so poorly and when sbmm finally decides to give me a good matched game it won't even be that good of a game. This has been the first game I've uninstalled from how poorly made and how unenjoyable it is.
I would say that the game has improved from its original release, which was filled with even worse bugs, glitches, and crashes, and really should have waited another month to make sure the game was properly made.
In the end, this just further proves how little these cod developers care about making a good game now for new or for long-term fans, instead just only caring about how they could make the most money.
