The prison fight was probably the most intriguing part of the film. Story line was ok but it dragged alot.

Amazing movie. I never really enjoy thrillers but I enjoyed this, and the fact that its based on a true story is even better. 10/10

Only 4 stars. Because after all these years of prolonging to watch this movie i expected alot more. I was hoping for a more romantic gay love story as the hype of this movie was depicting. But instead, it was a story of 2 men that truly love one another, except the time this movie was set in - it wasn't realistic for them, even though it could of been so if the other guy wasn't so indenial. It's heart breaking and especially what happened to the other guy when he gets murdered for who he is. This movie would display being gay as a sad reality to an uneducated and uncultured audience. I get what the hype is about, it's all and all an ok movie, but I'm just disappointed because of the sad ending like most gay movies around this time ( early to mid 2000's) and i expected alot more.
