I did not enjoy this version of Wuthering Heights. The young Cathy and Heathcliff barely spoke two words to each other. This approach did not contribute in demonstrating how they developed a close and loving bond as youngsters. This makes it hard for the viewer to buy into the fact that they are soul mates who deeply love each other. The lack of chemistry between the adult Cathy and Heathcliff does not make any of the anguish they suffer believable. The pacing of the movie is exceedingly slow and boring. Nelly's character was discarded for the most part. In my opinion, it was definitely not time well spent.
