Excellent movie. It takes comet as an analogy for environmental destruction and climate crises. It showcases the indifference and ignorance of modern society towards critical environmental issues in a comic way. Critical issues are politicized, media often diverts attention on unimportant issues, crowd is simply driven by the social influence, but no one takes the scientific community seriously. No one cares about the real crises that human civilization is facing - environmental degradation. A simple and short message in the movie… “if we don’t act responsibly now, then there will be nothing left to survive for.” The movie is capable of educating the masses on the repercussions of climate crises if one looks closely. A brilliant effort by the team of Don’t Look Up. I congratulate them on such courageous attempt and wish them luck. Hope to see more of such cinematic art that could genuinely bring forth the awareness platform on climate change. Don’t Look Up is a brilliant movie with wonderful performances. A must watch!
