First of all, I would like to say the gameplay and graphics are amazing. The story and writing for the game are awful. Joel's death was horrible. Joel knows way better than to trust random strangers and to give out his name after he knows he is a wanted man. He has survived for 20+ years he knows way better. The other thing about the game is that they really don't make you try to like all the other characters like Dina, Jesse, or anybody. Joel and Ellie's bond was amazing. I would like to include that the game gets repetitive. Same stealth kill animations, roaming around for a very LONG time looking for loot, enemies. They just throw away much of its character-development, atmosphere, and world-building for the sake of adding a playable antagonist. Lastly, there is no joy in The Last of Us: Part II if you came into it with the previous characters in your heart.
