I finally got around to watching this. It's riveting, and each show ends at just the right cliffhanger moment to make you want to see the next episode immediately, to see how things turn out. So far I've watched the first 8 episodes of Season 1. Like most shows and movies of this type, the farther it goes along the more bizzare and unrealistic it gets. The unit, supposedly a top professional military unit similar to (but far smaller than) the IDF's Duvdevan "undercover" unit, makes a number of tradecraft mistakes that even a rookie shouldn't make. For one thing, they continue using the same vehicles (a distinctive telephone company van and a Mercedes sedan) over and over, even after they've been used openly in operations. Doron goes all over the West Bank and does undercover work as a Palestinian, yet makes no effort to conceal his face in any of the operational missions he undertakes. His rogue mission to recover a team member who happens to be his brother-in-law makes him the ultimate loose cannon, yet apparently the show is setting him up for a totally implausible success and probably will end up with him and his gang of rogues in charge of operations again, after committing murder, kidnapping and torture. In Israel or any other democratic country he'd be on trial. Also implausible is that the IDF and Shin Bet, which are able to thwart almost every terrorist attack planned, and which can blanket the West Bank with signals intelligence and UAV surveillance, can't locate his group even though he's exchanging cell phone calls with his nemesis regularly and driving around (in the same car well-known to his unit) doing operations while everyone is looking for them. Again, it's very well-acted and fast-paced so I'm probably hooked, but don't mistake it for realism.
