This is a must watch for any basketball fan who grew up watching Jordan and the Bulls. Jordan was the reason I started watching basketball and stopped watching when he left. I did gain some interest on the Kidd/Nets team but soon lost interest when that was broken up.
Anyways this is a really great documentary on how this team was born, to growing mature to exiting on the top. Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Kerr, Grant, Kukoc, Paxon in that order. This was a time when basketball was exciting, tough, lots of action and NBA fantastic. Today's basketball is soft.
Jordan was born a winner and it shows in this documentary. He always wanted to be the best at everything he did. Some may say he's full of himself and sometimes an a-hole, but this made him a champion.
Talk smack to him and he will embarrass you on the court, sometimes off the court as well.
Pippen was the cool cat on the team, he seemed more compassionate and caring towards everyone. He seemed illegitimately sorry for that Kukoc incident when he sat on the bench disagreeing with Jackson on giving Kukoc the final shot that one time.
I love Rodman, no matter what others think of him. He was real, didn't have to impress anyone and didn't care what others think of him. He had the hot women, skipping practice to hand with Hulk Hogan. His team knew we was a hard worker and got the job done so they didn't seem to mind too much. Hey sometimes you need a break.
This also shows how the media like to instigate, blow things out of proportion just to get front page. When I see athletes being hounded by the media, I feel bad for them. Other celebrities being hounded, whatever.
I really enjoyed this and saw a different side of the players, behind the scenes and how they had a family away from home.
