Joanne Brigden

Every time I read a book, I find out it is or has been made into a film. I read this book about a month ago and have been recommending to anyone I know who is a reader. It's very heartbreaking, especially knowing there were undoubtedly millions of similar stories that WEREN'T fictional, that happened during that time of World War II. I imagine the film, if well-made, will have the same feel as All Quiet On The Western Front. I can't recommend this book enough.
