I'd never played a monster hunter game before in my entire life but was willing to give this movie a shot and see if I could be interested in it... I expected action, perhaps a few people here and there dying, and a semi decent storyline. However what I got were boring characters who only existed to die in the beginning and a boring story line. Some people may say some scenes weren't that scary, however as someone who gets horrible nightmares from most horror movies this movie had at least a scene or two that were what I'd consider horror. If I had know scenes like those were in it I would have never saw it but the trailer, and movie description gave no hint about any of that. Also from what I've been told about the game the movie didn't even seem that connected to it either. If I could give this movie a 0 star rating I would. This was the worst movie I've seen this year.
