From what I've heard, this movie was unsuccessful because it was not like the original King Arthur tale, and in response, I'd say, that if it was like the original tale of King Arthur, people wouldn't look twice at it. I believe that this movie was poorly critiqued and is the one movie I could never get sick of. To its scenery to its music to it action scenes to its pacing, this movie goes above and beyond. Although no movie is flawless, I would defiantly tell you to watch it. It's sad to see that because of critiques, it had to discontiues it planned seirise of movie that follow the first. Sometimes, some thing seem too good to be true. 10/10 would recomend.
