Amazing sequel to the first series, Spice and Wolf. It really did an amazing job giving me the same feeling Spice and Wolf gave me when I first read the Novel and Manga. And Anime too! And if you are new to the series, Hasekura does a great job not leaving you stranded. As the series does explain some events in the past that happened in the first series. Like the characters from the 1st series met Col. This was a great first volume. I can't wait to finish the 2nd and 3rd. The 4th hasn't come out yet as the time I am writing this. But I recommend, even newcomers, to join in on Col and Myuri's journey.
