This film is the sixth of the Exorcist franchise and the worst of them all by a large margin. The plot was weak and predictable, the acting was almost exclusively subpar and I didn’t find it scary in the least. The only slightly interesting feature was seeing Linda Blair return at the end. Honestly, it was a waste of time to watch and I’m only glad it was steaming free on Peacock. You should know I’m a such a huge horror film fan that I set my bar pretty low and am able to find the entertainment value in most films in the genre, but not this one.

Saw X was fantastic! The storyline was plausible and the traps were next level. This is easily in the top 3 of the franchise in my books. Admittedly, some of the Saw movies have failed: Spiral was nearly unwatchable. However, I can honestly recommend Saw X for fans of the horror genre and it’s a must for all Saw fans. Personally, I really hope this franchise continues: I’m ready for XI.

The acting is very good; however, the script is trite. Trials, tribulations and self redemption. Give me a break.

This show literally has no cohesive plot. It is simply illogical throughout. Altered reality within altered reality: give me a break. They should have cancelled season 2 AND season 1. Never saw anything so ridiculous and believe me I have willing suspension of disbelief in excess.

This chapter of Saw has its merits. The traps were original, but the scenario that motivates the copycat is a little trite. Ditto for a lot of the dialogue: trite. However, there were a lot of good visuals. I thought the last half hour was pretty intense. All in all, is you are a Saw fan, this is a must see. I think sequels based on this chapter could work nicely but the dialogue needs improvement. Chris Rock did as well as anyone could given the script.

This series was highly publicized so I gave it a try. It’s very corny and I find an adult woman playing a teenage boy to be just about as stupid as that sounds. Overall very disappointing. I suspect this show to be cancelled pretty soon.

I actually would like to award this film 4.5 stars. It has a great cast and equally good acting. I think the subject matter (euthanasia) is one that needs more attention as well so I applaud that. This wasn’t a tear jerker for me but a lot of it rang true as far as family dynamics and appreciation for the basic human right one has NOT to suffer when death is inevitable. If you’ve ever witnessed a family member pass excruciatingly in a hospice or a similar situation, then you will probably empathize with Sarandon’s character.

This movie was pathetic. I don’t often leave negative movie reviews, but I can’t resist in this case probably just because I need to vent my disappointment and anger over wasted time. The “found footage” is like a carrot on a stick that they dangle to keep you watching: it is carefully rationed throughout the movie, but it’s mostly BORING!!! Seriously, don’t waste a minute on this....

This film was very creepy. I appreciated that the plot was original and thus never predictable. The acting was really incredible. Perhaps the biggest testament to this film is that I was a little reluctant to turn off the lights right after watching. Now it’s been s long time since I had that feeling and I consider myself a real horror connoisseur. I highly recommend this film for those who enjoy psychological thrillers that aim to frighten you at your core rather than through cheap jump scares.
