I'm afraid that my opinion of the programme is less than positive. The Pagan people are drab, mud covered savages with unkempt hair thar shows little grooming. Anyone who has studied the people of the era (as noted many times by the Romans no less) is that they were a vain culture, given to keeping themselves clean, tidy to an almost obsessive level. And why is the clothing so basic!!!! Another anomaly. Finally Merlin, great actor but clearly doesn't align to anything that is recorded in myth, nor does it match the authors own books (despite the authors simple minded argument over this). There was a knight who matched Merlins appearance who was noted as being the first of his kind seen on the Isle. Sad result and not something I'll continue watching.

I really struggle to justify a rating as high as a 1, this film was painful (after the first few seconds), the characters lacked in depth and the story was less interesting. Also the shark fin looked ridiculously fake....considering what must have been a limited budget you'd have expected a fake fin to look legitimate. I'd like to have my rental money back please plus the wasted time in my evening!! And who gave this enough positive reviews to give this a 4.1 rating, must have been the directors family.

I'm sorry to have to disagree with some reviewers but I found the film massively pretentious, overthought, overworked and frankly dull. How this film ever got to production I find staggering. I was a fan of the original Alien film (saw it on first release) then Aliens and enjoyed both for different reasons and this appears to attempt a complete reworking of the story. I didn't get to the end but after wasting 1 hour and 45 minutes of my life on it, I finally threw the towel in. The only reason I give a 1 is because of the quality of the graphics.
