Very disappointing film. Unconvincing characters who were mostly just silly - not well cast. Additions of 'natural nudity' and Emma's nosebleed plus a farting baby were completely unnecessary and served only as sensationalism in an effort to appeal to a 21st century audience. Austen's story is good enough without these additions. I was really looking forward to the film and took my daughter so my review is based on the views of two generations. Miranda and Bill Nighy were just Miranda and Bill Nighy in different costumes. The comedy was contrived and ridiculous rather than clever as Austen intended. Very disappointed customer. 🙁
