I started watching this after the 2020 elections, for the first time. You should be prepared to binge watch as it took me a little less than a day to see season 1. Fantastic action, writing, and cast! I highly recommend this TV series. I can't wait to see season 2! Haysbert (the voice) and Sutherland are amazing.

Excellent acting, script, photography! I agree that the critics were too narrow in their praise. I also agree with another reviewer that the lack of bad language and nudity was a definite plus! It didn't need CGI effects, just the excellent acting of all involved... A must see.

I definitely recommend this movie, but for someone 16 and over. I admit the language can be a bit much if you're offended by the GD word. I watched it in Blu-ray and it was a beautiful movie to see. I thought Chris Hemsworth did a very good job in this and so did that whale! Since I was watching at home, I was able to back it up many times for the quickness of the dialogue. The dynamics between man and the sea were amazing. It has my thumbs-up for family watching for those over 16.
