Watched it on Netflix and eh... it's alright. I am 19 so I guess I can't say much but personally I think good children's films are good to both adults and children. It was pretty cute but, that's about it. The whole story was very predictable and has too many similarities to other peices of media. Peices also felt like it was taken from Chiken Little for some reason.(Which wasn't a good movie either)
It does lack orginal writting, but In least I didn't get bored enough to stop watching it. Honestly close to the ending was the most intetesting part, but was quickly ruined due to the choice of songs. Actually, most scenes would have been a lot better if not for the sound track which ruins any fun or impactful moment. The best I can say is that whenever I have a child It would probably be something to put on for them while cooking dinner or something.
I suggest if you want a good childrens/family film to watch with your kids go put on something like The Spongebob Squarepants movie from 2004. Perfect example of how family movies should be, orginial writting, and actually enjoyable and funny with memorable songs and moments, everything this film lacks.
