It is so poignant ,realistic and disturbs you as it connects to everybody's life in some form or the other and not mere portrayal of Indian poverty as alleged by some critics that I couldn't completely see it in one piece despite about 20 attempts as tears moistened my eyes and did not go away for long.

It is a classic in its true sense. Brilliantly enacted and directed with great sensitivity the movie is a must see many times.A heart warming beautiful spectacle on screen.

One wishes there is some substance in all the effort ,acting and filming to make it appear a gruelling journey.Efforts to make ambience and characters look very realistic are evident but certainly the viewer wonders what is all this much ado about very superficial?

A very poignant movie of under stated emotions enacted brilliantly by Shabna and Naseeruddin. The direction with background of ruins reflects ruins of life in different ways.Some lives and circumstances lie in shambles which can neither be blamed on the sufferer or other people .There may or may not be a solution or way out mostly it doesn't and ruins continue to be ruins .
