This was a good action film but it's not a worthy sequel to Terminator 2. I think The Terminator and T2 need to be left alone as they are both classics that cannot be replicated or done right as proven by the countless attempts at trying to make a sequel to T2. Dark Fate felt like it was copying a lot from T2 and struggled with the plot. *spoilers* I can't believe they killed John Connor the first five minutes into the film. Dark Fate completely contradicts everything T2 was by killing off John. Instead we are introduced to a bland character called Dani that we know nothing about and is now the apparent leader of the resistance in the future. Do I consider this a sequel to T2? No way. The only way I would ever consider a true sequel is if it was written and Directed by James Cameron and Edward Furlong was on board. Even bring Michael Biehn back. Take care of these beloved characters. Don't try and ruin their legacy by killing them like in Dark Fate.
