Not exactly sure who gave this show more than 2 stars but they were either being generous or they are robots. The original show, House of Payne, was amazing and fun to watch ! They will take what should have been one 5-10 scene and stretch it to a 25-30 minute episode. Also, The laugh track was out of control.However, this show, was not very good at all. The best episodes are the first two or three, because the whole family (minus Hayden and Jayden) were in it. It’s not very funny, the show takes too long to get to the point, and it doesn’t feel like a Tyler Perry show. Almost all of his projects are amazing, but this wasn’t it. Sorry. The way Curtis continues to disrespect Ella is and never was funny, the other characters had no real value to the show, they are constantly repeating themselves and kinda make us Black people look dumb; and for the record we are not. Far from it. But hey, If you want to watch, go for it but its not the same as House of Payne.

Loved it when I was a kid!! Super funny and I still watch it in my adult life

This show was one of the best Disney XD shows made ! Loved it as a kid when it first aired on tv and I still do in 2021 as an adult. Very humorous and love love the connection between the twins. The show changed a bit when Mitchell left the show and was replaced by Adam. Not in a bad way but you have to get adjusted to the change. I honestly wish Mitchell had made some sort of appearance in the last season or even just the last episode but regardless, the show is really good for kids, adults and families to watch together ! It is FINALLY on Disney+ now 😃

Love it ! love it ! love it ! Would totally recommend to someone who needs new shows to watch ! The other reviews basically say everything you need to know. I say, its is well done, interesting, keeps you on your toes and always guessing. WATCH YOU ON NETFLIX !!

As a fan of TVD and TO, I have to say I love this show. Yes it has its flaws but what show doesn’t ? If you are a REAL fan of the stories then you have most likely read the books too (before or after watching the shows). In the books, Elena is blonde, she is not friends with Caroline, Bonnie is a red head and the couples are not what we saw on tv. Those changes were good. They worked for the show. But did you also know that in the books, there are more supernatural creatures than just Vampires, Witches, Warewolves, Hybrids and Tribrids ? Yes ! There were a whole lot more other creatures that were not portrayed in the series. Now they are in Legacies. We have seen Vampires and warewolves and witches already for 13 whole seasons ! Its time for something else. Otherwise it is a repeat of the shows we have already watched, and then it’s not interesting anymore. This show, though still a spin off of TO and apart of TVD series is different. It is new, there is still drama and has a new monster almost every week. The show is still very connected to the previous shows so there is no reason to complain about that. As for characters coming back, Alaric has made an appearance in all three shows so that is good and there are tons of easter eggs all over the show. You have to realize that most of the other cast members have said they don’t want to come back because they have been working on the show for years. They are done with vampires. Others are living their own lives and are taking a break from tv/acting. And others are settling down and starting families of their own. They don’t have time to come back to the show. You have to be considerate of others. Some characters come back and some others are thinking about it. So just wait and see. And who knows, if the show gets more seasons, maybe more characters will come back. The show is really good, the cast is great and the show deserves to not be so harshly compared to the previous shows before it. My advise, watch TVD first then TO second before you watch this otherwise you will be confused and miss out on the easter eggs and parallels. WATCH LEGACIES ON THE CW AND NETFLIX !!

Katy keen is such an amazing show that deserves to be renewed for more seasons. It is in the same world as Riverdale (because it too is an Archie comic) but honestly it feels so different. It takes place in New York and there are no mysteries to solve or murders. It is like the New york, non violent version of Riverdale. They also sing ! It is truly a wonderful show that ended too soon. You will see familiar faces and there are a lot of RDeaster eggs while getting to see a lot of new characters. I really hope that this show gets picked up by HBO max or the CW very soon. WTACH KATY KEEN ON HBO MAX AND HELP BRING THIS SHOW BACK TO THE SCREENS❤️

VERY GOOD SHOW ! VERY VERY GOOD SHOW ! I am obsessed. To respond to someone who said that the cast had said in interviews that they don’t know what is going on as a reason to not watch the show, you didn’t listen or watch the full interview. They said they don’t know what is going to happen because the writers don’t give them the script until a couple of days before the table read. They are young adults who are on social media, you don’t think they might accidentally spoil something ? 😐 I know I would if I were on the show. Also, that is a terrible reason not to watch the show. Look on their social medias, do they look embarrassed to be apart of this production ? Do they look like they don’t enjoy it ? Do they look unhappy with their roles ? No. No. And No. They LOVE each other and their characters. If you don’t understand what is happening in the show, watch it again. Simple as that. The show is really good and the only reason some people don’t like it is because it isn’t exactly like Archie comics. Understandable, Cole felt the same way and said he almost didn’t want the part for that very reason. But he kept reading the script and loved it. My advise, watch it with an open mind and I honestly think you will enjoy it. This show is amazing, the cast is amazing and im looking forward to future seasons❤️

AMAZING SHOW !!! I love how they took a beloved story and added a darker element to it. I am personally very into shows that are dark and creepy but can still make me laugh and cry and feel all the feels. This show is great and the cast works so well together and im looking forward to future seasons ❤️ I know there are people who are mad because it isn’t word for word of the books, but if it was, I wouldn’t want to watch it. We already have the books, I want to see something more. I like the ghost and I like how it all works together. I like how they change up the characters a bit. Its different. For example, Riverdale is a show based off of Archie comics. Fans of Riverdale (myself included) are huge fans of Bughead (Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones) and Varchie (Veronica Lodge and Archie Andrews) and even Choni (Cheryl Blossom and Toni Topaz). In the comics, Jughead is a goofy kid and not interested in dating anyone. Betty and Veronica are not best friends, more like Frenimies, because they both like archie, Cheryl isn’t gay, miss Grundy and archie NEVER happed. Also, no one dies or is a murderer. But if these changes weren’t made, the show would not be fun to watch. We already have the books so if you want to read the original versions, im sure your local Library will have them and you can read them as many times as you want. But over time, it will get boring and you want something fresh. My point being, change can be good. So I would advise to watch the show. Its not exactly like the book, no but it is worth watching. It doesn’t matter how old you are, this show is for all of us to enjoy so stop trying to go back in time and have everything exactly like the book. This is a GOOD adaption. Not all adaptions work but this one DOES 100%. If you aren’t into ghost or creepy stuff, okay, but if you don’t mind it, please do yourself a favor and watch it. WATCH IT ON THE CW AND HBO MAX !!

I have always been a huge fan of Tyler Perry's work!!!! Never a dull moment watching anything he makes because he will have you cracking up until you fall over on the floor. I am very excited to see what will become of Tyler Perry's House of Payne after eight years :)
